She completed a laser fellowship with Rox Anderson, MD at Harvard Medical School as well as Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery for skin cancers with Dr. Steven Proper in Tampa, FL. She brings a unique combination of elite training and extensive experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Urato has exceptional skill in dermatologic surgery and is highly acclaimed for her diagnostic acumen. Her special interest in functional medicine and focusing on root causes of disease.
